If you enjoy slacker, toilet, and pot humor, then you're Benson's demographic. His gimmick of using pot (previously starring in Marijuana-Logues and Super High Me) is actually pretty funny when he jokes about them, but they only appear briefly at the beginning with his introduction. One of the funnier joke was when he claimed that he signed on to do "Best Week Ever" because he misread it as "Best Weed Ever".
As for Super High Me, movie where he does the exact same thing as Super Sized Me, only with weed, he said he doesn't mind that people download his movies. The joke is that some guy uploaded the whole thing in 10 minutes sections on youtube.
Speaking of movies, I just learned that his other passion is watching movies. He kind of even pimp his I Love Movies Podcast during this live taping. He also devoted a whole segment to his Twitter. While this might sound refreshinging modern, it can also be incredibly dated in a few years when people move on.
My favorite joke is his misunderstanding of a heckler at his show and the Hoover Dam guide who keeps injecting jokes in his guide. Be sure to also stay to the very end with "Bonus Track!", where Benson throws in some material that didn't fit in his set.

You can get Unbalanced Load on Comedy Central or Amazon. If you're not high, I have noticed that you can find Comedy Central Records' releases at Target and Best Buy stores!

Just to give you an insight, I normally listen to my comedy albums in the car or on the home stereo as I don't really require to hear every note and pitch of a music album. So I had The Top Part on my car stereo and ended up listening to it for weeks - simply because I was too lazy to take out the CD.
So apparently, Mulaney actually best known for being a cast member on VH1's Best Week Ever. I think being both comedian and actor on VH1 was an easy deal for Mulaney, who proved that he's good at adlibing and improv, as seen on some of his VH1's Best Week Ever clips online.
Currently, Mulaney is one of the writers for Saturday Night Live, and occasionally appears on Late Night television. He seems to love TV, which probably explains his extra long joke on "Law and Order" (but we'll get to that later).
The title of the album is named after his King Solomon's joke, about how Solomon was going to cut a child in half. Of course logic kicks in:
Where I think Mulaney's material fails a little is when he starts talking about goth people and drag queens (note the clumsy transition from baby drunks to San Francisco's 'gayness'). I don't think he's insulting them, but I wouldn't be surprise if someone is offended.Who is this first woman? That's like "Yeah let's cut the baby in half! That sounds like a good idea."
Like what kind of awful bitch have just stole--she stole a baby!--and the first time she's asked about it she's like "Look, I'll take what I can get! Can I take a leg, I'll take the leg, she can have the top part."
Mulaney is really, really funny is when he jokes about himself. From his "feminine limps" to his awkward "Ray" date to to his stupidness (from math to chasing a woman at 2am). I laugh because I identify with him.
I couldn't relate to jokes about "Law and Order" (and Jerry Orbach, who?), but I did laugh at it anyway. The especially funny "love is spelled with two eyes" movie tagline is hilarious. This is new material, check out an early evolution of the "Law & Order" jokes with barely a mention of Jerry Orbach:
You can pick up The Top Part from Comedy Central Records. If you want to hear more Mulaney jokes, head over to myspace, as he's so popular, his main website has a "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" as of this writing.

As much as I hate the DRM on iTunes, this EP is only available through iTunes. If you have an iPod and likes funny Christmas songs this might be worth your while.
Guests includes Toby Keith, Elvis Costello, John Legend, Feist, Willie Nelson, and Jon Stewart. The John Legend song about Nutmegs has very sexual innuendos that's safe for the kids and fun for the adults. I was happy to see that W♥M favorites Elvis Costello made an appearance too!
I haven't seen the DVD, but based on listening to the EP (which was the audio lifted from the DVD) and watching clips via Joost on my iPod, it looks pretty funny. Apparently Colbert is trapped in his cabin and famous musicians visits him to do sing songs and stuff.
Recently, Colbert declared war on Kanye West because his 808s & Heartbreaks is #1 while Colbert is at a respectable #16. So, I guess, "Operation Humble Kanye" will be on next Wednesday, December 5th at 5pm (eastern).
Since I actually block double-click, I couldn't actually view the video on comedycentral.com, so instead here is a clip via hulu.com:
Anyway, I think Colbert is pretty funny. It's cool to see him move from being just some report on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart (hey remember how he used to be on MTV?) to having his own show on Comedy Central.... to even writing his own "book": I Am America (And So Can You!). I ended up getting the audio book because it's actually read by Colbert and there are guest appearances as well as sound effects and soundtrack!
* Before you dismiss this Christmas cash-in and Colbert's arrogance, this project is actually for a good cause, for the charity group Feeding America.
