W♥M Directory and Some Up-coming short tour dates
Some updates: I'm working on a W♥M Directory. You can click on the header to sort on any topic. I am manually indexing each band, so it's taking a long time. So far only January and February are entered.
Anyway, in an effort to satisfy any outstanding promises that I've made, I've decided to do a round up of upcoming tour dates and a very brief biography on each musician (maybe we can re-visit the bands later down the road).

17 Aug 07 Leonards Bar - London 16 Sep 07 Good Ship Kilburn - London |
This was posted on his blog, but if you send him an email to doughall[a]pprpublicity.com to reserve your ticket that you will also get a free CD of the performance.
This is such a good idea, I don't know why artists don't make their set available after the show/free with admission. Plus it's only £5, so it's cheaper than 2 beers.
Listening to a few of his tracks, it is somewhat bluesy. If you like acoustic, singer/songwriter, this might be up your alley.

The Last November is a band based out of Atlanta, Georgia. When I first heard their name, I mistakened them for another indie rock band called The Early November, and I would think they would make a great pairing if they were to ever tour together.
The only thing that I found really interesting reading their biography is that singer, Luke Pilgram, have been playing guitar since the age of 11. That's a lot of practice.
The band's recently released their second studio album, produced by Steven Haigler (who worked as a mixing engineer for the Pixie's Doolittle album).

14 Aug 07 Betsey Trotwood 30 Aug 07 the Star - Tufnel Park |
Not too much information on him, some of his influences are: Radiohead, Tim Buckley, Paul Simon, Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, Elbow, Damien Rice, Bob Dylan, Manic Street Preachers, Ryan Adams, Eric Roach, Rufus Wainwright, the Smiths, Kate Bush.
According to his blog, it looks like he's working on an EP with producer Mark Wallice, who's credited with working with U2 and Travis. Although to be honest, I've never heard of him.
