The Fratellis
The Fratellis are a 3-member band from Glasgow, Scotland that formed in 2005. The origin of their name is debatable. First, "fratelli" means "brothers" in Italian. Although the members in the band aren't brothers, "brothers" could suggest a sort of brotherhood or close relationship. Second, some believe the band's name was derived from The Goonies in which the last name of the family of criminals is Fratelli. And third, supposedly Barry's (the bassist) surname is Fratelli.
They've released one album called Costello Music, which featured the song "Flathead". They're probably best known for this song since it was featured in Apple iPod+iTunes ads.

I have a few videos of theirs somewhere...
Think they may have also canceled the rest of their US shows...due to "exhaustion"...lame
I must admit that this is the first I've heard of them...which leads me to 2 conclusions:
1. They're not getting much airplay in South Africa yet.
or
2. I gotta get an ipod and download those itune thingies
You gotta love the retro album covers though
The video for Flathead is great, currently on my blog. lifeinyorkshire.vox.com , along with a mixture of songs and ads for the ipod/itunes.
Some good tunes and very hummable, but they're really not that exciting. Saw them live about this time last year and they weren't bad.
I'll be interested to see if they can repeat their success with the second album!
