Sia - Numb

Comments

The Sia track I'd recommend is 'Breathe Me'. It was played in the last few minutes of Six Feet Under's final show, and it just fits- strangely ethereal, sad, perfect for endings.

Ironically enough, I'm Australian, and I'd never heard of her until an American friend sent me the Six Feet Under clip.

[this is good]
Breathe Me is a gorgeous song. It was used in the very scene of the very last last episode of Six Feet Under, and that scene was incredible. Sia is awesome. :)
I admit it was a toss up between adding Breathe Me or Numb, the later just seemed a bit more upbeat and easier to get in to, plus the fact that Breathe Me may have been heard by plenty of people already due to the Six Feet Under thing ;o)

I love Sia .. Breathe me was the first song I've heard by her but nowadays I'm alittle addicted to Sunday and ALL of her songs on Zero 7's The Garden album.

I was actually going to do something on Sia (probably "Sunday"), but never got around to it. It would've been something to do with Zero 7. By the way her full name is: Sia Kate Isobelle Furler.

I actually bought the taken for granted single for, like, $5 in the bargain basement bin at k-mart back in 2000 or so. It made me sad that it was in there, so much.

This post ended so adorably, btw.
I just got the whole album for £5, not that into it yet so I'm hoping it's a "Pleased To Meet You" type album, where i stick it away for a year without listening to it, then find it one day and think it's the best album ever.
