More ripped off riffs for you; requested by no one imparticular yet a perfect chance to pimp my fav band. Again. Thanks Vu! :oD Seriously though, I'm amazed no one else has ever mentioned the similarities between these two tracks; it's the first thing I thought after hearing the intro. Ok, I know The Crimea well enough to know they'd never intentionally rip anyone off, but when did that ever stop the law?

So, this time you get to play spot the difference between Rocket From The Crypt's 1997 "On A Rope" from the Scream Dracula Scream album, and The Crimea's 2005 "Losing My Hair" from the Tragedy Rocks album. Spend a minute on the first to get the chorus, then check out the second and if you don't spot the difference right away then you have dog ears. Vu's words, not mine.

seriously, did you take two random songs that does not sound anything alike and pretend they were ?

:oO no?!? the 30 second intro is identicle note wise, just on "on a rope" it's played on bass, crimea it's on lead. vu. you have dog ears. guess i should find some new music to post though, eh? :oP

oh and, coming from the guy who posted that lavign vs roowhoever track... even the elastica one's pushing it :oP this stuff is blatent ripoff without rippingoff. i should really log out shouldn't i? ;o)

I can see what you mean, but I wonder if I would have picked it out if you hadn't explained it? Maybe I have half-dog ears? haha. but for what it's worth I like the Crimea song better than the RFTC song.
