Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
I really should ease off on the posting, but hey, since I missed out on a few days, I reckon I should make up for it.
I saw this really cute video from www.vimeo.com. It features a bunch of young people at Connected Ventures lip syncing to Harvey Danger's "Flagpole Sitta". According to the information on the video:
We did this video one night after work. We are a company called Connected Ventures, a group of friends who work for: Vimeo, CollegeHumor, Busted Tees, and Defunker.
Anyroad, you may remember Harvey Danger if you were a KROQ (or any "alternative" station) listener, or if you saw the movie Disturbing Behavior (1998), which featured this song. I remember the first time I heard this song, I was driving with my siblings and it came on the radio and my brother was singing to it. But it was so easy and catchy that toward the end of the song, we all were singing to it.
The most important thing you should note about Harvey Danger, is that they've released their third full length album, Little By Little (2005), as a free download. In fact, they encourage you to share the album with your friends and families - and you can read the reasonings behind this on their website.
Sadly though, I still kind of think of Harvey Danger as a one-hit wonder :/

I agree that they are probably a one-hit wonder, but some of the tracks off Little by Little would probably be decent hits if they actually got some play on a radio station (thinking Wine, Women and Song, for example).
P.S.: I almost shit myself laughing when I saw the "SILF" t-shirt.
Sinon, ça y est : chargé ...
