In the meantime, I have trawled through the back catalogues of some older groups to see what I can find. So far the one of the contenders for satisfying my summer sound craving is Swedish group, Club 8. Their chilled-out vibe fits perfectly with sunny days we've been having here in the Lakes. Formed in the 1995 by Karolina Komstedt (from the band Poprace) and Johan Angergård (Acid House Kings, Poprace), throughout their five albums they offer a blend of mellow twee with the occasional bit of acoustic electronica. Ideally, they even have an EP called "Summer Songs".
