Salford Lads Club reference in "Grand Theft Auto 4"? Well, Sort Of
Recently while taking a walk trough the mean streets of Liberty City I (a long time Morrissey and Smiths fan) suddenly discovered a landmark that kind of reminded me of a certain famous stoop of sorts. As soon as I saw this location in GTA 4 I was reminded of The Salford Lads Club. But what made this find even more interesting was that next to the door way was a business sign with the word "smith" printed on it. Interesting and awesome. Who knows, maybe the creators of the infamous video game series aren't fans of the mozzer and this is just a strange coincidence but either way, this was a very cool experience for me.
