i own howling 1 and 4 (the marsupial werewolves!) and have been meaning to fill in the gap of these terribly cheesy wolf movies... maybe next year i can do a better werewolf article haha.
I've actually never heard of that series, but it sounds pretty awesome. Are they slasher flicks or what? 'Cause of those, the best I've seen is Dr. Giggles. Really hilarious movie, in all the wrong ways.
re: howling, it's basically a series of werewolf movies. it's pretty typical werewolfy movies. i believe the 1st one is the most famous and generally respected as a wolf movie, but all the sequels after that are panned by the critics as garbage.
although having just read the article that it's actually some sort of pig, i'm embarrassed to have thought the cover looked like a werewolf.
haha, yeah, I don't think they even howl or anything, they just stand around munching on cacti. They're kind of oblivious to everything. I overheard some lady in Big Bend saying she came up on one that was napping and snoring in the underbrush at Big Bend. (I was so jealous)
still it could make kind of a good sad pseudo-horror flick. Like an anti-horror flick.
