AaaaH! Oh I used to love this song so much. I think I played it every week when I had a radio show at my university radio station. *sigh* The nineties...

wow i've never heard this song before and i've always wanted to. hurrah for the internet.

Chia Pet were less inspired by Riot Grrrl than bullied by Calvin Johnson into forming a band according to <a href="http://www.amazon.com/How-Sassy-Changed-My-Life/dp/0571211852">How Sassy Changed My Life</a>. I guess at the time Calvin was pretty bad about asking girls to come up with a band name and then putting them on bills with Beat Happening.
